The Sonday System 1® Student Workbooks for Independent Practice and Answer Key
The Sonday System 1® Workbooks provide students with materials to practice the skills being taught in the Sonday System 1® reading program. 4 Workbooks and 1 Teacher Guide and Answer Key are available for purchase. The Workbooks provide 5 or 6 work pages for every Reading Level of the Sonday System 1®. Each Workbook has materials for 1 student and each teacher would need one Teacher Guide and Answer Key Booklet. Sample pages for each book are available below by clicking on the corresponding book icon.
- Workbook 1 has skills practice for Sonday System 1® Reading Levels 1-9.
- Workbook 2 has skills practice for Sonday System 1® Reading Levels 10-18.
- Workbook 3 has skills practice for Sonday System 1® Reading Levels 19-27.
- Workbook 4 has skills practice for Sonday System 1® Reading Levels 28-36.
- Teacher Guide and Answer Key contains skill charts and answers for Sonday System 1® Reading Levels 1-36.
The Sonday System 1® Workbooks are designed to be used outside of the regular Sonday System 1 instruction time for independent practice, for homework or for seatwork. The Workbooks are not meant to replace instructional sessions where interaction between the teacher and student(s) are vital, but to provide materials to reinforce the skills being taught in the instructional setting. The activities and exercises provide more opportunities for the student to cement learning into long-term memory, because they are multisensory, they reinforce learning and build confidence while providing variety and fun.

The Teacher Guide and Answer Key provide skill charts showing the skills practiced at each Workbook page at each Reading Level and an alignment chart with the Sonday System 1® Scope and Sequence.
