Let’s Play Learn – Premium

Let's Play Learn PremiumLet’s Play Learn-Premium guides pre-reading and early math skills for early childhood, intervention, Pre-Reading instruction for English Language Learners (ELL) and is highly effective in the Response to Intervention (RtI) model. Let’s Play Learn-Premium is a research-based program that is a culmination of decades of experience, research and applied Orton-Gillingham methodology.  This edition has a differentiated instructional approach with a structured sequential lesson plan format for whole group and small group instruction.   Adaptations for individual student instruction are included in the Learning Plan Book.

The Let’s Play Learn-Premium consists of 112 levels of structured, systematic instruction designed to match development levels for preschool and kindergarten children.  The plans are wonderful time savers for teachers, educational assistants, volunteers, clinicians, parents, homeschoolers, and tutors who need to deliver quality early childhood instruction and intervention immediately.  Strands running through the levels include a variety of intentional strategies, activities and materials designed to teach:

  • Active Listening
  • Phonological Awareness (rhyme, onset sounds, closure)
  • Rapid Naming (shapes, colors, numbers and letters)
  • Alphabet, Shapes, Colors, Patterns, Numbers and Counting
  • Vocabulary (location and descriptive words)
  • Pre-writing and Printing
  • Picture and Listening Comprehension
  • Letter Names and Sounds

Each level begins with whole group instruction time which reviews previous taught material.  Included in each level are teacher workstations and student workstations.  New material is always introduced in the teacher workstation while in the student workstation independent practice or lightly supported activities of already introduced material is mastered.

Let’s Play Learn- Premium guides early childhood instruction, intervention for struggling students, and English Language Learners (ELL) to develop pre-reading skills.  Let’s Play Learn Premium is also available in a Classroom version which has additional materials for multiple instruction settings.  The program meets all of the State and Federal requirements recommended for an early intervention and reading readiness program. The colorful books, materials and music provide fun, variety, and excitement to the learning process.  Learning is woven into the fabric of play and provides a foundation for academic success.  Children who complete this program are ready to move onto Sonday System 1 and for success in reading, mathematics, and all academic tasks.
